This is a newly created opportunity for a sustainability officer to lead the implementation, coordination, and ongoing delivery of the sustainability reporting for a leading technology company.
About the role:
* Lead the preparation and coordination of sustainability disclosures.
* Support the development, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of sustainability reporting frameworks, policies, and controls.
* Coordinate data collection across finance, operations, risk, ESG, and other internal stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of sustainability metrics.
* Implement a process to ensure efficient and accurate data collection across the business.
* Work with the legal team to assist with climate-related risk and opportunity assessments, scenario analysis inputs, and governance disclosures.
* Prepare sustainability reporting update for quarterly Audit Risk & Sustainability Committee.

* Leverage audit and accounting experience to support month-end and year-end close activities, including month end postings, reconciliations, analysis, and reporting as required.
* Develop and deliver training sessions for internal stakeholders, building strong internal stakeholder relationships.
About you:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
* Background in external audit, internal audit, or technical accounting.
* Strong understanding of financial reporting processes, month-end close, and audit requirements.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing data from various parts of the business.
