Metro South Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Radiographer/Sonographer (or Senior Sonographer) to join the Medical Imaging Department at Logan Hospital.
These full-time and part-time permanent and temporary HP4 positions deliver high-quality ultrasound and/or radiography services across Logan Hospital and its satellite facilities in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Your new role
In this senior clinical role, you will provide advanced medical imaging services, applying high-level expertise to deliver safe, accurate and patient-centred examinations.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations and, where applicable, radiography, using advanced clinical judgement and independence.
Providing clinical education, supervision and support to students, junior practitioners and assistant staff.
About you
You are a skilled and confident imaging professional who demonstrates strong technical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality diagnostic services.
We are looking for someone who:
Demonstrates advanced clinical skills in ultrasound (and radiography, if applicable) with the ability to adapt techniques for complex presentations.
Communicates effectively and collaborates with clinicians, patients and colleagues to ensure efficient, patient-centred care.
