We are looking for a confident and conscientious Customer Service Manager to join our family-owned and run powdercoating business in Pakenham, Melbourne.
**About the Job**:
- Primary point of contact for all client enquiries.
- Frequent communication with clients to provide updates on the status of their goods.
- Organising delivery and pick up freight.
- Working alongside the Production and Quality Manager to ensure KPI's are met.
- Building relationships and trust with existing and new customers.
**Key Duties Include**:
- Maintaining our zero 'Where Is' policy (where customers are never following up on the progress of their jobs because we proactively keep them up to date).
- Organising freight when required and coordinating customer pickups and drop-offs.
- Entering jobs into our project management spreadsheet.
- Entering jobs into our accounting invoicing software.
- Assisting the Sales Manager with basic estimation/quoting when required.
- Handling and mediating customer complaints and concerns.
- Collaborating with the broader team to ensure our customers' expectations are met or exceeded.
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- 3yrs + in a customer service role with 2yrs+ in a customer service lead, supervisor, or management role.
- Bubbly, upbeat, and friendly attitude.
- Empathetic to client feedback and ability to communicate authentically.
- Highly organised with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Ability to think out of the box and be flexible.
- Assertiveness and confidence to find solutions for clients.
- Strong computer skills.
- Robust communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and reach targets.
- Friendly, well-mannered, and polite.
- Immunisation accreditation.
**Highly Regarded, but not Essential**:
- Experience in a powder coating, sandblasting, metal coating or metal fabrication company.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
