Job Description
Paying $37-$45ph + super Mentone Vic location with WFH flexibility Temp contract role until 30th April 2026 with possible extensions.
About the Role Our client is a well-known VIC local government organisation. They are currently seeking a Financial Accounts Assistant to come in and join their team in Mentone on a temp contract until 30th April 2026.
Candidates for this role must have: Post-secondary qualifications or training and experience in processing financial accounts, customer service and administration, or substantial experience in a related field or relevant experience Experience working in a community service environment would be advantageous
Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel Key responsibilities will include: Verifying creditor invoices against planned expenditure in the information system (Carelink)
Accounts payable, raising and receipting purchase orders (TechOne (cia anywhere) Internal staff reimbursements Maintaining and supporting financial operations.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to handle accounts queries About You
You will be an experienced Accounts Assistant with proven experience and reliability in previous positions The successful candidate will possess: Post-secondary qualifications or training and experience in processing financial accounts, customer service and administration, or substantial experience in a related field or relevant experience
