The role of the Group Procurement Manager is to be responsible for the overseeing and sourcing of materials essential for all of the businesses across the Wormall Group. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, analyse markets, develop and implement supplier agreements and processes.
What your day will look like
* Understand procurement needs and develop sourcing and supply strategies.
* Lead supplier negotiations.
* Build and maintain long-term supplier and trade relationships.
* Identify, research, and recommend new suppliers.
* Develop procedures for operational efficiency, compliance, and cost savings.
* Set and manage KPIs group-wide for supplier performance.
* Recommend new products and suppliers to the Management Team.
* Manage a small team, including performance management and goal setting.
* Prepare monthly reports on financial and operational performance for the Senior Leadership Team.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
About you
* Ability to plan and meet business requirements.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
* Highly experienced Microsoft Office skills - particularly with Excel.
* Have industry experience relating specifically to supplier chain management and procurement.
* Experience with implementing procurement procedures and policies.
* Strong leadership skillset with experience displaying skillful communication, technical expertise, promotion of key business values and ability to mentor and coach employees.
Skillset needed
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* Technical knowledge in relation to procurement.
* Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
* Full rights to work in Australia.
* Construction Safety Awareness Card / White Card.
