Employ Me, a leading construction company in Port Kembla, is seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Boilermaker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
* Perform welding, cutting, and grinding tasks to ensure precise fit and finish of steel structures
* Use hand and power tools, as well as heavy machinery, to shape and manipulate steel materials
* Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure structural integrity and safety standards are met
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to plan and execute projects efficiently
* Adhere to company and industry safety standards and regulations at all times
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and installation
* Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
* Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
* Experience operating heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
