About the RoleThis role is ideal for a trade mark paralegal with sound experience in Australian, New Zealand, and international IP practice. You’ll be working closely with our Senior Associate to manage, maintain, and monitor IP portfolios across multiple jurisdictions.You’ll be responsible for supporting and managing a wide range of tasks, including:Comprehensive knowledge of Australian, New Zealand and international trade mark systems (UK, EU, US, Canada, China, etc.)Experience with the Madrid Protocol, including managing designations and applicationsMonitoring, managing, and policing all stages of applications, registrations, oppositions, removals, and renewalsExperience with WebTMS (or similar) IP management software:Entering and maintaining trade mark data across all jurisdictionsManaging deadlines and generating automated precedentsConducting audits of trade mark, patent, and design records to ensure alignment with Registers (as required)Preparing and lodging filings via IP Australia (eServices), IPONZ, WIPOProcessing and actioning official mail from IP officesCollating evidence declarations and exhibits for submissionPreparing client schedules, fee estimates and tailored correspondenceConducting basic IP-related online research (e.g., ASIC, Wayback, domain checks)Preparing draft reminders, email templates, and managing workflowsUsing NetDocuments (or similar) document management systemsMonitoring and managing renewals and declarations of useMinimum 3+ years in a trade mark paralegal roleStrong attention to detail and ability to work autonomouslyExcellent communication skills and time managementExperience working remotely is a plus What We OfferFlexible, remote work environmentPart-time role with potential for growthJoin a respected firm known for its collaborative and forward-thinking approachWork with high-calibre clients and interesting IP portfolios across the globeReady to apply?If you're an IP-savvy paralegal looking for a role with flexibility, challenge, and variety, we'd love to hear from you.
