Position Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated volunteers to join the CLCN People and Culture Team. This position allows you to gain experience in the non-profit sector in a hybrid work environment while also developing your people-oriented and organisational skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist with the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
* Liaised with managers and team leaders to produce job advertisements and descriptions to meet hiring needs.
* Prepare offer letters and volunteer contracts through proper documentation.
* Collaborate with the training team leader to coordinate organisational and team inductions and assist with onboarding procedures.
* Maintain and update volunteer records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in our HR database.
* Provide administrative support to the People and Culture department's weekly tasks and projects, and assist with networking events.
* Assist in the preparation and administration of performance evaluations with senior team members.
Selection Criteria– Essential
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse groups of people.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines.
* Understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly.
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a hybrid environment.
* Experience with remote work tools and working with virtual teams.
Selection Criteria– Desirable
* Have relevant working experience in HR or be knowledgeable about HR various practices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Google Workspace suite.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a multicultural team setting with a deep appreciation for diverse cultural perspectives and practices.
* Skilled in project management procedures, capable of handling multiple HR projects with senior team members simultaneously.
