About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Perth. This role is critical to optimising manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and supporting the development of new storage systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse and improve manufacturing workflows, layouts, and production systems to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
* Design and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance to ensure product integrity and manufacturability.
* Conduct time and motion studies, cost analysis, and capacity planning.
* Develop and maintain documentation for process standards, work instructions, and quality control procedures.
* Support the Engineering Director in strategic planning and project execution.
* Evaluate and implement automation technologies and advanced manufacturing techniques.
* Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and company policies.
Skills & Experience Required
* Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role.
* Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality systems.
* Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Experience in the storage systems or metal fabrication industry is highly desirable.
