An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitable individual to join a globally recognised automotive company in the position of FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst. The position will provide support to the FP&A Manager in the preparation of the financial forecast and development of analysis to support decision making. The role also involves coordinating with offshore shared services team and broader commercial team on forecasting and analysis of various cost items such as material cost, logistics cost, local fixed costs etc.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the development and preparation of monthly financial forecast, Budget and Long-Term Plan – both Profit & Loss and Cash Flow
* Assist with preparation of variance explanations of the financial forecast (to targets and prior forecast)
* Lead analysis of actuals and forecasts for various cost items such as material cost, logistics cost, local fixed costs by coordinating with relevant overseas team, local commercial teams and offshore shared service team
* Ad hoc analysis and special projects
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
* Minimum 2 years' study towards Bachelor Degree in Finance related field – Accounting/ Business/Commerce
* Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Strong communication skills – written & verbal
* Strong attention to detail
* Good analytical skills
* Team orientated
* Good organisational and time management skills
This role is a 12 month contract position with a possibility to progress to permanent.
