Prime Slab Solutions is a leading commercial floor preparation company, experiencing rapid growth and dedicated to delivering high‑quality service on various commercial projects. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Supervisor to join our expanding team. This role offers a unique opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, manage complex projects, and drive success in a fast‑paced environment.
As a skilled tradesman, you will be responsible for installation and completion of multiple commercial flooring projects and managing day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard. Reporting to the Director, you will play a critical role in leading teams, preparation and installation on site, maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of substrates ready for various applications, including floor levelling, polished concrete, specialised coatings, waterproofing, screeding, and decorative plaster
* Lead and manage various concurrent commercial flooring projects of different sizes and complexities
* Plan and schedule project tasks, including labour and equipment allocation
* Liaise with builders, site teams, and clients to ensure successful project completion
* Collaborate closely with the Prime team to address challenges and provide project updates
Skills and Qualifications
* 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial flooring or construction, applied finishes, plastering, project leadership, or related fields
* Strong communication and management skills
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans and specifications
* Current Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) and a valid Police Check are preferred
