Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Automotive Sales Associate to join our growing team at Jim Taylor Chevrolet. The ideal candidate will possess 3 years of sales experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Nurture long-term relationships with clients to build a loyal clientele
* Exhibit consultative selling skills to assist customers in selecting the perfect vehicle, by asking insightful questions and actively listening to their responses
* Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends to become a trusted authority on vehicles
* Demonstrate new and used vehicles in a professional manner, highlighting key features and benefits
* Foster strong relationships with buyers to drive referral business and ensure customer satisfaction
* Analyze and overcome objections to thrive in high-pressure sales situations
* Regularly report progress and insights to the Sales Manager, providing actionable recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of automotive sales experience
* Availability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
* A self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit, with a willingness to continuously improve
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* A professional, well-groomed personal appearance and a clean driving record
* A valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently
