**Job Title:** Substance Use Intervention Specialist
The primary goal of this role is to co-facilitate psycho-education group sessions for individuals in custody or under community supervision, focusing on addressing substance use and related issues. These groups will vary in intensity, including short and low, moderate, and high-intensity programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish rapport with participants through initial engagement, developing individual outcomes, including pre-enrollment interviews and obtaining consent for participation.
* Evaluate knowledge and progress through pre- and post-testing, aligned with the program's intensity level.

* Queensland Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Service Delivery Framework 2015 (and subsequent revisions)
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the spectrum of substance use and stages of change, enabling them to work effectively with clients across all stages of substance use. They should also be able to respond to a range of psychoactive substances, including alcohol, tobacco, licit and illicit drugs, pharmaceuticals, synthetics, and poly-drug use.
