What You'll Do
Set up and pack down exciting laser tag events.
Help players and get them battle-ready.
Drive our vans to deliver and collect gear to events across SEQ during peak times, e.g., school holidays.
About Laser Tag in a Box
We've entertained kids and adults since 1999. We're growing FAST.
We're not just playing games, we're running live-action scenarios that get hearts racing and minds strategizing. As the original outdoor laser tag brand (yep, we invented the technology), we run all sorts of events, including:
* Birthday Parties
* Corporate Team Building
* Sports Team Break-Ups
* School Camps
Our depot is based in Shailer Park, and there are battlefields at Mt. Cotton, Tamborine Mountain, and mobile events across SEQ.
Who We're Looking For (Essential)
Open Driver's Licence (no suspensions in the last 5 years).
Current Working with Children Blue Card
Physically capable of lifting and carrying items up to 16kg
A big smile, good people skills, and a love for working outdoors.
First Aid Certificate (or willing to get one)
Why Join Us?
Award wages + Sunday penalty rates + a chance to move up the ranks. The hourly rate depends on the job you are doing for each gig.
For example, an adult trainee referee (event assistant) is paid $30.35ph (plus allowances + super) on a Saturday or $42.49ph (plus allowances + super) on a Sunday.
Past the training period, a referee is $32.31ph (plus allowances + super) on Saturday or $45.24ph (plus allowances + super) on Sunday.
There are promotion opportunities. Our C.O. (shift supervisor + super) gets paid more. An adult C.O. is paid $35.15ph on Saturday (plus allowances + super) or $49.21ph (plus allowances + super) on Sunday.
Training and support (we'll teach you how to run the games like a pro) .
A flexible roster that works around study or other commitments. We book events 7 days a week (excluding public holidays). Most of our events take place on weekends and during school holidays. So, we run a flexible roster. In other words, we can work around your Uni or TAFE schedule .
