About the Role
* Casual shifts available on an ad-hoc basis to support permanent library team
* Work across the branches within their network
* Extensive training provided
* Start date: Early September
* Hourly rate: $35 per hour plus super Library Assistants & $47per hour plus super for Librarians
What You'll Do
As a Library Assistant or Librarian, you'll play a key role in:
* Supporting patrons in accessing library services and resources
* Assisting with programs, events, and activities
* Helping visitors with technology, digital platforms, and online resources
* Delivering exceptional customer service across different library locations
About You
We're looking for passionate, adaptable, and community-focused people who:
* Hold (or are working towards) Library and Information Science qualifications (Qualifying for ALIA membership)
* Are available for short-term casual engagements and can work across multiple locations
* Have strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset
* Are confident using technology and have solid digital literacy skills
* Can adapt quickly to new environments and tasks
* Have experience supervising teams (for Librarian role)
* Hold a Full Driver's Licence (desirable)
