Procurement Professional - Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to join our team.
* This is a key role in the organization, responsible for providing strategic advice and practical guidance on procurement and contracting.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and customer-focused support through the Procurement Helpdesk.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide probity and compliance reviews in accordance with the PGPA Act 2013 and Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
* Deliver procurement training to internal stakeholders and maintain procurement systems, including AusTender and internal financial systems such as TechnologyOne.
* Coordinate mandatory reporting requirements, including Senate Order and Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) compliance.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract management, and compliance activities.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, ability to work flexibly, and manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and lateral thinking.
Eligibility Criteria
* Australian Citizenship – required for employment.
* Security Clearance – Baseline Vetting clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).
