Diesel Mechanic – Prime Movers (Full-Time) | Dandenong Area
TRS Resourcing is seeking an experienced, qualified Cert III Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a busy, well-equipped workshop located in Dandenong .
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working across a large prime mover fleet, with consistent overtime and optional Saturday work.
What We Offer
* Hourly rate around $45 per hour (negotiable based on experience and product knowledge)
* Permanent full-time role – no labour-hire conversion period
* Standard hours: 8:00 am – 4:06 pm
* Regular overtime available
* Optional Saturday roster (1 in 4 weeks)
* Work within a stable, high-volume fleet/maintenance environment

About the Role
You will be responsible for:
* Servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy prime movers
* Diagnosing mechanical faults and initiating corrective actions
* Component rebuilding and major mechanical work
* Working independently and/or as part of a team to high productivity and safety standards
Qualifications
* Cert III qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
* Strong industry experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician
* Ideally, product experience with Volvo, Mack, or UD (highly regarded)
* Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work unsupervised or within a team environmentBased in Victoria (Melbourne region) or willing to relocate
* Full Australian working rights
* Contactable references from at least two past employers
