The Role
The Head of eCommerce is a senior leadership role with full accountability for Fliteboard's global eCommerce performance across both B2C and B2B channels. This role can be based in Byron Bay or Melbourne, with regular time in Byron Bay preferred.
You will own end-to-end eCommerce strategy, platforms, execution, partners, and commercial outcomes, including P&L accountability. Operating within a matrixed global organisation, this role balances entrepreneurial pace with strong governance, reporting discipline, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Fliteboard's global eCommerce strategy aligned to business and group objectives
Lead and scale B2C and B2B eCommerce channels, owning the full online customer journey
Own and evolve global eCommerce platforms (Shopify or equivalent), ensuring performance, scalability, and security
Build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team, supported by best-in-class agency partners
Partner closely with Marketing, Brand, Technology, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver growth and seamless execution
Own eCommerce P&L, including revenue, margin, investment, and ROI
Define and track KPIs across growth, profitability, customer experience, and operational performance
Provide clear, insight-led reporting to executive leadership and parent-company stakeholders
Champion data-led optimisation, experimentation, automation, and pragmatic use of AI and emerging technologies
About You
10+ years' experience in senior eCommerce leadership roles within global or multi-regional businesses
Proven track record scaling both B2C and B2B eCommerce channels with strong commercial outcomes focused on shop and convert
Deep hands-on experience with Shopify or comparable enterprise eCommerce platforms
Strong understanding of digital architecture, integrations, and martech ecosystems (CRM, ERP, analytics)
Demonstrated P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and performance optimisation
Minimum 3-5 years of P&L ownership experience is required
Experience operating in matrixed or parent-company environments with senior international stakeholders
Comfortable leading a hybrid in-house and agency operating model
