Annual Salary from AU$56,573 up to $80,000 – dependent upon grade, superannuation and penalties.
Level of experience and skill will determine grade and salary.

How You Will Make An Impact As a Cook
* Responsible for the correct and hygienic preparation and serving of food.
* Responsible for maintaining and facilitating clean and hygienic work practices.
* Prepare, serve, present, and deliver food and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program (FSP).
* Prevent cross‐contamination and properly prepare food to meet special dietary requirements, such as gluten and dairy intolerances, allergies and preferences.
* Liaise with the Chef Manager to plan menus and special occasions with residents and their families.
What You Will Bring To The Role
* Experience in aged care (preferred).
* Qualification (Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery) and/or experience as a cook in aged care would be advantageous but not necessary.
* Understanding of special dietary needs.
* Exceptional customer‐service mindset.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
