We're looking for a proactive and highly organised
Alumni Relations Officer and Archivist
to join our supportive and multi-faceted Community Relations team. This role is all about connection - building strong relationships with our Old Scholars and wider community while managing the College's archives and supporting alumni engagement.
You'll bring strong organisational skills, experience in archives management, and a passion for fostering community engagement. From coordinating reunions and alumni events to maintaining historical records and creating engaging content, you'll play a key role in celebrating the College's story and strengthening ties across generations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all Immanuel College Old Scholars Association (ICOSA) activities
Act as the primary contact for Old Scholars and promote alumni engagement
Support the arrangement of reunions and alumni events
Contribute editorial content for the alumni section of the College magazine
Manage and maintain the College's historical archives and student roll
Implement best-practice approaches for archiving and digital record management
Foster community involvement through social media, events, and communications
Collaborate with the Community Relations team on marketing and engagement initiatives
Key Selection Criteria
Experience in customer service, marketing, communications, or community engagement
Experience in archives management, record keeping, or database administration
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Appreciation of, and commitment to, the Christian values and ethos of the College
Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Media, or Archives Management (desirable)
An existing or historic connection to Immanuel College (desirable but not essential)
