Synergie is seeking a Scheduler / Planner for a Waste Management industry located in Santos Cooper Basin Moomba.
Tenure: 6‑Month Contract Temp to Perm Chance
Roster: 2 Weeks On (Swing) / 2 Weeks Off
Next Swing Start Date: 21/08/2025
Daily Hours: 10‑12 Hours Per Day (While on Swing)
Pay Rate: $65–$75 per hour (Flat Ordinary Rate Based on Experience)
Position Overview
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in planning/scheduling and a willingness to embrace the FIFO lifestyle. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, coordination and management of detailed maintenance and service delivery schedules in a dynamic and remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and update detailed schedules for planned maintenance shutdowns and service delivery
- Allocate equipment and resources based on job requirements, availability and safety compliance
- Collaborate closely with operations engineering and field teams to ensure planning aligns with site priorities
- Monitor work progress and adjust schedules in response to changes in scope, resources or priorities
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards
- Utilize planning and scheduling tools/software to manage workflow and generate reports
- Drive continuous improvement in planning and execution processes
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a scheduling or planning role (industrial services/logistics experience is a plus)
- Solid understanding of maintenance workflows and asset management
- Proficiency in scheduling/planning software and systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently and effectively in remote high‑demand environments
- Committed to FIFO lifestyle and a safety‑first team‑oriented culture
Additional Information
- Flights: Direct flights to Moomba available from Adelaide (ADL) and Brisbane (BRS) only. Candidates based in other locations must cover their own travel to these departure points.
- Pre‑Employment Requirements:
- Completion of Cleanaway WH&S; training (Certificate to be presented upon site arrival)
- Completion of Santos Inductions
- Successful Pre‑Employment Medical (PEM)
