With many ingredients grown outside the window in perhaps the suburb's only kitchen garden, our menu is alive to the seasons, always ripe with elegant simplicity and perfect for sharing. A local favourite, Chiswick is Matt Moran's philosophy of honest produce, artful cooking and warm atmosphere brought to life.

Matt Moran works closely with Head Chef, Samuel Rozsnyoi to develop the seasonal menus based on what's growing the garden. An avid supporter of inspirational local and regional producers, he believes the unique stories of growers and farmers makes eating so much more special.

Our wine team has curated a thoughtful selection of sustainable, elegant drops from some of the country's finest producers. Each wine is clean, creative, and celebrates the purity of the fruit — free from intervention, just as we approach everything we plate and pour at Chiswick. A consistent recipient of three wine goblets, our list reflects both craftsmanship and care year on year.

We are on the hunt for a Head Sommelier who has worked in some of Sydney's best restaurants to bring their passion for great wine & beverages and their love of hospitality to to drive our wine program at Chiswick

The Role

We're looking for a passionate Head Sommelier to lead the wine program at Chiswick, one of Sydney's most beloved neighbourhood restaurants.

In this role, you'll curate and manage a thoughtful wine list that celebrates local, sustainable makers and compliments Chiswick's produce-driven philosophy.

As Head Sommelier, your role will oversee all aspects of the wine program, from purchasing, supplier relationships and stock management to cellar presentation and team training, ensuring every detail reflects Chiswick's dedication to creating memorable moments for our guests.

We're seeking someone who's as comfortable mentoring others as they are sharing stories at the table. Previous experience working as a Head Sommelier or Sommelier for some of Sydney's best restaurants will enable you to hit the ground running.
