You will be based at the Ford Proving Ground in Lara (You Yangs, near Geelong) and will support this site and our Research & Development Centre in Norlane.In this role, you will monitor regulatory compliance, promote company sustainability, and support environmental initiatives.Main ResponsibilitiesAdvocate local support for Ford’s Environmental Policy.Reinforce and apply changes to operational activities as required by legislation.Functionally apply local Ford Environmental Operating Systems (EOS) requirements through completion of Environmental Operating System Work Orders, Compliance Reports and maintaining environmental operating system documentation, including procedures and site aspect lists.Support identification and management of local environmental risks by conducting site land, surface waters and groundwater impact assessments, risk assessments on site dangerous goods and hazardous materials, site industrial, priority and priority reportable waste management audits and support identification of the root causes of environmental incidents and development of corrective actions.Support environmental policy deployment and reporting of metrics including monitoring, measurement and reporting on local environmental metrics.
