Thermochill Plumbing & Electrical is a growing, multi-trade business delivering high-quality electrical, HVAC and energy-efficiency solutions across residential and light-commercial projects.
We're looking for an A-Grade Electrician with solar experience who is ready to step into a leading role and help grow our solar offering as a core part of the business.
This role suits someone seeking greater responsibility, autonomy on site, and a clear pathway into a leading position — not just another tools role.
The Role
You will:
* Lead and deliver solar PV installations (residential and light commercial)
* Act as leading hand on solar jobs and support apprentices and junior electricians
* Work closely with management on job planning, quality control, and compliance
* Provide practical input into system design and installation approach
* Help shape standards, processes, and consistency across solar installs
* Ensure all works meet CEC, ESV, and AS/NZS compliance requirements
About You
You'll ideally have:
* A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
* Current CEC Solar Accreditation
* Hands-on experience installing solar PV systems
* Confidence running jobs and communicating with customers
* High standards around workmanship, safety, and presentation
* A growth mindset and willingness to take on responsibility
* Interest in developing into a senior or lead role as the business expands
