About the role
Caring Support (NSW) Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in the Cessnock, Maitland areas NSW. This role offers flexible working arrangements to support individuals with disability care needs in the local community.
What you'll be doing
- Providing personal care assistance, such as showering, dressing, assistance with transfers and all support needs to assist in daily activities
- Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks
- Accompanying and supporting clients to attend appointments or social activities
- Monitoring and reporting on client well-being and any changes in their condition
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible care for our clients
What weor
- A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services, or equivalent experience in the sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Patience, empathy, enthusiasm, a happy, kind nature with a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in people's lives
- A current driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shift work, weekends and public holidays
