About the Role
As an Automation Sales Engineer, you will develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within Industrial Automation. You will work closely with customers, providing technical advice and support to drive sales and promote innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve and exceed sales growth targets.
2. Demonstrate technical expertise on all automation products and solutions.
3. Develop relationships with channel partners through joint sales activities and training.
4. Promote packaged control systems and end-to-end solutions.
5. Prepare proposals, respond to tenders, and negotiate agreements with customers.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and product innovations.
About You:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
2. 3+ years of external field sales experience in industrial automation or a related field.
3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
4. Experience working with engineers, consultants, system integrators, and contractors.
5. Proficiency in planning, organizing, and managing projects effectively.

Job Details:
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: circa $120k + Super + Car, Fuel Card (or vehicle allowance) & Bonus.
Location: Tullamarine, VIC.
