About the role
Centrefire Joinery is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in Bayswater, VIC. This full-time role is responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture for residential and commercial clients.
What you'll be doing
* Fabricate custom cabinets, built-in furniture and other woodwork using a range of machinery and hand tools
* Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and client specifications
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
* Assist with tool maintenance and workshop upkeep
What we're looking for
* Completed apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Cabinet Making or Joinery
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom or bespoke furniture workshop
* Strong knowledge of cabinet design, construction methods, materials and finishing techniques
* Proficient in using a range of hand and power tools, including CNC machinery
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Good communication and time management skills
* Committed to maintaining a safe, organised and clean work environment
