Are you a natural organiser with a passion for turning plans into action? Join us as a Project Planner and help to drive meaningful Community Projects on the Central Coast

- Temporary Full Time role until June 2026
- Work/Life balance with a 9 day fortnight and work from home up to 2 days per week

About the role

As a Project Planner you will be at the heart of our capital investment program - supporting the development, planning and delivery of projects that align with Council's long term goals and community expectations. Your expertise will help to ensure our infrastructure pipeline stays on track, on budget and delivers quality customer service and lasting value to the community.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Coordinate planning and documentation for key infrastructure projects including scopes, delivery plans and approvals
- support data collection and prioritisation of projects using Infrastructure pipeline
- develop comprehensive business cases and assist in strategic business investment decisions
- provide clear documentation, monitor risk and help mitigate issues
- work closely with stakeholders from interval teams to community partners

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Diploma qualification in an engineering, asset management, construction management or project management discipline that relates to State and/or Local Government infrastructure or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- The commencing salary for this position is up to $90.2K. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $104.5K on completion of assessment of skills and performance 11.5% superannuation
- We have a temporary full-time role available
- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
- We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite
- This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building

Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
