The roleReporting to the Deputy Director General, Strategy, Policy and Reform Division, you will drive the design and execution of strategies that improve healthcare for all Queenslanders. The key component of your role will be to lead strategic projects across the system to deliver on Queensland Health's priorities. You will utilise your expertise in communications, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery to build and maintain key relationships to ensure a whole-of-system approach to strategic projects and ensure alignment across priority areas.
Your key responsibilities will include partnering with Department of Health and health service executives to co-design innovative strategies, initiatives and frameworks to ensure the objectives of Queensland Health's priorities are met. Your position will also lead the identification and response to complex, urgent and emergent issues.
About Strategy, Policy and Reform DivisionThe Strategy, Policy and Reform Division (SPRD) is responsible for driving the strategic agenda for public health in Queensland - from developing policies and legislation to guide and protect the health of the community, to designing communications activities, campaigns and strategies to engage and empower Queenslanders to improve their health, and leading and managing Queensland Health's system sustainability reform, including through funding strategy and leading special projects of critical importance.
