As a trusted advisor, you will partner closely with stakeholders across the business to uphold contemporary risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted risk advisor and dedicated business partner for leadership teams and risk champions.
* Facilitate the identification, assessment, and articulation of current and emerging risks relevant to the business unit's strategy, projects, and operations.
* Provide guidance on risk analysis treatments and control effectiveness, ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Risk Framework.
* Drive the effective implementation of the Enterprise Risk Framework and additional tools.
* Manage the continuous improvement of the organisation's risk management tools within the business unit.
* Facilitate key risk processes, including risk and control self-assessments, risk and incident management, and key risk indicator (KRI) monitoring.
* Champion a strong risk culture by promoting risk awareness, accountability, and proactive risk management practices.
* Support the business in effective identification, recording, investigation, and resolution of risks, incidents, and issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in a risk management role.
* Experience in the energy, utilities, or similar highly-regulated industries would be highly regarded.
* A strong background in building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Expertise in facilitating the identification, assessment, and articulation of current and emerging risks.
* Proven experience in providing guidance on risk analysis, treatments, and control effectiveness.
* Demonstrated ability to champion a strong risk culture within the business unit.
