We're entering a new phase of growth, with a strong focus on scaling internationally — particularly across Australia and the US — and are looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to take full ownership of our paid media.
This role sits at the intersection of creative and performance — ideal for someone who can think strategically, execute decisively, and confidently manage spend at scale.
THE ROLE
This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for driving paid media performance across all key channels. You will own the full performance ecosystem – from strategy and budget allocation through to execution, optimisation, and scaling – working closely with the Founder & Creative Director to ensure creative direction and performance outcomes are aligned.
This role is suited to someone ready to step into true ownership, with the ability to manage complexity, make clear commercial decisions, and scale with intention.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performance & Strategy - Lead paid media strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels, with a focus on driving profitable growth across AU & US markets.
* Budget & Scaling - Own and manage monthly ad spend of $200,000–$500,000+, scaling investment in line with performance, seasonality, and inventory flow.
* Campaign Execution - Build, launch, and optimise campaigns end‐to‐end, maintaining strong account structure, clear testing frameworks, and consistent iteration.
* Creative Direction (Performance-Led) - Translate brand direction into high‐performing ad concepts, identify winning creative patterns, and work closely with the Founder & Creative Director to guide campaign output.
* Creative Testing & Production - Develop and adapt simple, fast‐turn ad creatives when needed (UGC‐style, hooks, variations) to validate ideas and accelerate learning cycles.
* Channel Expansion - Contribute to the growth of TikTok and Pinterest as performance channels, identifying opportunities to diversify acquisition.
* Collaboration - Work closely with the wider marketing team, ensuring alignment across paid, organic, and campaign direction.
* Reporting & Insights - Deliver clear, actionable insights – focused not just on performance, but on what to do next.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
* 4–6+ years in paid media / performance marketing
* Proven experience managing and scaling $200k+/month ad spend
* Strong experience across Meta and Google Ads (TikTok & Pinterest highly regarded)
* Experience scaling e-commerce brands (fashion/lifestyle preferred)
* Strong commercial mindset — understands MER, CAC, AOV, contribution margin
* Confident in reporting, attribution, and performance analysis
* Experience working through high‐volume sales periods (BFCM, EOFY, major campaigns)
* Exposure to creative strategy, testing frameworks, and performance‐led creative
Nice to have -
* Ability to create or edit simple ad creatives (CapCut, Canva, Adobe)
* Experience with UGC‐style content and rapid testing environments
* Familiarity with platforms such as Klaviyo, Triple Whale, Shopify
