Job Summary
A Respiratory Registered Nurse provides patient-centred care that promotes identified health outcomes. This role assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Deliver high-quality patient care that is safe, effective and efficient.
* Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualised care plans to meet these needs.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care that addresses the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
Requirements
* Nursing registration with the relevant professional body.
* Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
* Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
