Desktop Support Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Desktop Support Specialist, providing on-site technical support for desktops, networks, firewalls, and EUC systems. As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, installing and upgrading operating systems, and administering MS Office.
Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with desktops, networks, firewalls, and EUC systems.
* Install and upgrade operating systems, including Windows 8 or 10.
* Administer MS Office and other software applications.
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
* Maintain accurate records and reports of work performed.
Requirements:
* Degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with firewall replacement, network configurations, and EUC systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Cisco CCNA or higher certification.
* Experience with TFTP servers and console cables.
* Knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems.
