Our client is a well-established construction company with a strong reputation across commercial sectors. Due to consistent growth and a strong pipeline of commercial projects kicking off, they are now looking to expand their team with an experienced and driven Contract Manager.
Description
* Manage all contract administration activities for complex commercial construction projects
* Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, variations, and purchase orders.
* Oversee progress claims, invoices, and financial reporting to ensure budget and cost control.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
* Monitor project compliance with contractual obligations, identifying and mitigating risks.
* Support senior management with reporting and strategic decisions related to contracts and project delivery.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise a Senior CA and a CA, promoting a high-performance team culture.
Profile
* 5+ years' experience as a Senior Contract Administrator or Contract Manager
* Proven experience in large commercial projects upwards of $40 million
* Local industry knowledge and experience are essential
* Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts, and commercial risk management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
