We are seeking an individual to support our growing network of op shops across various regions as a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. This permanent part-time role is based at our distribution centre, with regular visits to our op shop locations.
The Opportunity
* Recruit, train, and engage volunteers who are vital to our mission of fostering social connection and community cohesion.
* Maintain regular communication with volunteers through check-ins and ongoing engagement.
* Deliver volunteer inductions and training sessions.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective engagement and communication.
* Assist volunteer supervisors with local engagement and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
* Develop partnerships with local referral pathways to promote recruitment.
* Ensure quality assurance of all volunteering activities and keep documentation up-to-date.
* Manage volunteer records in our volunteer management system.
* Efficiently manage administrative tasks related to volunteer management.
* Regularly attend sites to engage with volunteers and staff.
* Communicate with the team to support continuous improvement and participate in broader activities as required.

Balancing varied demands with program activities is second nature to you, and you bring strong admin, IT, and reporting skills to the role. A flexible approach and a continuous improvement focus are key elements of success in the role. Above all, you have a passion for people, ensuring our volunteer experience is the best it can be.
