We are recruiting for an Account Manager to support our client's business through new client acquisition, account growth and high-quality delivery of consultants, contractors, and permanent personnel. This is a growth focused role suited to someone who thrives on building relationships, opening doors and driving outcomes.
This role is well suited to someone from an engineering consultancy, labour hire or agency recruitment background who understands contractor engagement, margin management and working toward targets.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Drive new business development, identifying and converting new opportunities
* Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring strong client relationships
* Maintain regular contact with prospects, clients, contractors, and employees
* Work closely with internal recruitment and delivery team to ensure high-quality placements
* Represent the business online, at industry networking events, conferences, and site visits
Skills and Requirements
* Experience as an account manager, business development manager, sales, recruiter, or similar within labour hire, agency recruitment or contractor-based account management or other similar environments
* Demonstrated success working toward targets, building relationships, and creating opportunities
* Experience across heavy industries would be highly valuable (rail, construction, infrastructure, defence, manufacturing, renewables, energy, water, utilities etc.)
