About the Position
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in technical IT infrastructure solution design and implementation, excellent communication and relationship building skills, and accountability to deliver customer-satisfying results.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering projects from solution design through to implementation.
* Cloud Services - Primarily Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and proven experience on large-scale migration projects essential.
* Delivering infrastructure projects autonomously or within a team (Active Directory and Exchange Server upgrades and deployments, Archiving, SAN deployments, VMware upgrades and deployments, Veeam, Anti-Virus, Office 365 Migrations).
* Networking - ADSL, Fibre Network turn-ups and troubleshooting, LAN Cabling, VLANs.
* Security - In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto and WatchGuard firewalls.
* Toolsets - Kaseya, ConnectWise, IT Glue.
* ITIL Service Management certification.
* Supporting clients to resolve high-level IT issues escalated by helpdesk in a timely and professional manner.
* Validating and assisting in the maintenance of the client's risk and issues registers.
* Working closely with technical leads on other knowledge domains.
* Administering and maintaining a range of networks and systems and providing network and systems guidance and support to key clients.
* Assisting the sales team with hardware specifications, quoting, and technical solutions.
* Resolving Level 3 helpdesk complex IT issues.
* Coaching junior engineers as needed.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will be able to provide pre-sales support and consulting, have project management skills, and experience working for MSPs.
