**About the role**
The Production Controller is a day shift (7am-3pm) factory leadership role responsible for ensuring proper planning & execution of material & resource availability for shift teams as per the weekly production schedule. The role will actively monitor changeover requirements & ensure all resources required for production is made available on time-in full. As part of Cell structure the role will track the production & process parameters (Volumes, Downtime, OEE, Material Usage etc.) & drive productivity improvements. The incumbent will play a lead role in driving process standardization to uplift safety, quality & reliability.
The Production Controller will liaise with the respective shift production manager & their teams, ensuring they have the right resources plus visibility of their shift deliverables (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Efficiency/Cost). As a factory leader the role will actively coach & mentor the team to develop its continuous improvement, problem-solving & standardized work skills to ensure their targets are met.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead daily direction meetings to communicate targets for team and coordinate daily activities.
- Execute weekly changeover plans finalised with scheduling & maintenance teams.
- Drive manufacturing process & efficiency improvement plans on key assets with maintenance team
- Ensure weekly staging of required resources (bulk, packaging, change parts & consumables) OTIF
- Review and update standard operating procedures as required.

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in a production management role
- Active listening and clear communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Attention to detail and process adherence.
- Ability to develop and document operating procedures.
- Problem solving skills in a team environment.
