The Role
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor with proven leadership skills to join our Gold Coast depot. This role is all about people and performance—you'll be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a large team of traffic controllers while ensuring safe, productive, and efficient operations.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will oversee day-to-day activities as well as future planning to meet client requirements. The role is based at our Stapylton depot with travel between sites, depots, and offices as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of traffic controllers to deliver safe and efficient operations.
* Conduct site audits and maintain a visible presence across projects.
* Ensure accurate completion of site records, pre-starts, inspections, and stocktakes.
* Manage rosters and address rejected shifts daily.
* Maintain vehicle roadworthiness and oversee signage inventory.
* Respond to incidents, feedback, and client requirements in a professional and timely manner.
* Contribute to budgeting and operational planning.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can balance safety, people management, and operational efficiency.
You will bring:
* Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in traffic control.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage large teams in time-sensitive environments.
* Strong knowledge of traffic management plans and safety protocols.
* Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
* Confidence in building strong client relationships.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Valid traffic control certification and driver's licence.
* High personal integrity and strong communication skills.
