- These _**_two (2) Deputy Secretary roles_**_ provide executive leadership and strategic direction in NSW Treasury to deliver NSW Treasury's vision and goals, and the Government's policy and fiscal management initiatives on a whole of government basis, consistent with the highest level of probity, best practice, and statutory compliance._
The **Deputy Secretary - Commercial** plays a key leadership role with responsibility for complex commercial arrangements and policy, leading a diverse team of professionals. The Commercial and Procurement Group (C&P) is responsible for commercial policy development; infrastructure and structured finance; managing the State's shareholding in its commercial businesses; managing major asset transactions; leading the development and oversight of the State's banking and financial services arrangements and managing whole-of-government procurement policies and activities. The **Deputy Secretary - Financial Frameworks and Operations** provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the State sector financial reporting frameworks and governance, and also leads Treasury functional Groups, including People & Culture, Finance, Information Technology and Communications. Critical to this role is the capacity to lead strategic advice to support the delivery of the Government's economic policy and fiscal management initiatives on a whole of government basis consistent with the highest level of probity, best practice, and statutory compliance.
