Aspire Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. If you have a love for cooking and a desire to work in a dynamic and creative environment, this could be the perfect prospect for you.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency in taste and presentation. Follow recipes and culinary guidelines to maintain the standards of the restaurant. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items efficiently during busy service periods. Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, informing the Kitchen Manager of any needs or shortages. Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area. Assist in training and mentoring new kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a similar high-volume restaurant setting. Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavour profiles, and food presentation. Familiarity with various cooking methods and equipment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
