Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Nurse Team Lead with a track record of leading and managing a team in a community setting within the Community Integrated Response Team (Home First, UCR 2hr Response and Virtual frailty Ward).
You will be providing line management and clinical/professional supervision to a defined group of staff, including appraisal and monitoring of clinical practice standards and be responsible for the allocation of work to clinicians and working collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure equity of workload across teams.
As a positive role model, you will coach staff members and provide clear direction and support, as well as assist the service manager with service redesign and take the lead on identified projects.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver health care, training, and health promotion as a member of the Community Response Directorate.
2. Promote positive health to staff, individuals, families, groups, communities, and relevant agencies.
3. Evaluate service delivery, identify areas for improvement, and initiate change.
4. Contribute to the development of best practice and facilitate shared learning to develop services and initiatives that meet local needs.
5. Develop effective links with key people in delivering services to support staff in improving the care given to our patients.
Qualifications and Professional Standards
Essential Criteria:
* Registered with the NMC
* Degree/Diploma in relevant clinical area
* Evidence of clinical leadership/clinical management training
* V300 independent nurse prescriber qualification
* Evidence of portfolio of knowledge, skills, and professional development
Desirable Criteria:
* MSC in Advanced Practice
