Optical Team Leader
to guide our customer-care and dispensing team across our Leederville and Leeming locations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a warm, people-focused environment and enjoys balancing team support with high-quality patient care.

About the Role
As our
Optical Team Leader
, you will play a key role in supporting clinic operations and driving a positive, high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor and support our optical dispensing & reception team
Model exceptional customer service and communication
Assist Optometrists and health professionals to ensure smooth clinic flow
Oversee dispensing quality, lens choices and eyewear solutions
Support onboarding and training of new team members
Help refine and streamline systems and daily operations
Work across both Leederville and Leeming clinics
This role combines leadership, patient care, and operational support — perfect for someone who loves both people and problem-solving.
About You
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Strong experience in optical dispensing
A warm, supportive and people-first communication style
Previous leadership or senior dispensing experience (formal or informal)
The ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced moments
A genuine interest in paediatrics, special needs or neuro care (highly regarded)
