**About the Assignment**
The Communications Advisor will generate content for employee communications to build pride, increase engagement, drive change, and communicate our purpose, values, and strategy. You will also develop content for external channels, enhancing our brand and reputation.
**Assignment Requirements**
- Develop a plan for rolling out changes to companywide communications and material
- Liaise with relevant channel and content owners to conduct a change impact assessment per channel and address accordingly
- Develop and implement tailored communication and engagement strategies/plans to support objectives, to internal and external audiences
- Provide advice on, and help develop and implement, communications plans and customer engagement strategies.
- Use a range of communication channels to reach internal and external audiences.
- Be a comms all-rounder with the ability to think strategically, tailor messages and produce high-quality content and collateral in a change context
- Support the Communications Manager and partner with key business units and senior stakeholders
- Update all templates, documents and presentations as advised
- Compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS)
- Compliance with the Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA)
- Compliance with the Santos Corporate Governance and Safety requirements
**About You**
- Diploma or higher-level qualifications in Communication Design or equivalent - essential
- Ability to "think outside the square" and see the "big picture"
- Competent with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
- Significant experience in marketing, digital and social media
- Strong understanding of website development, maintenance, and SEO skills
- Sound writing and editing skills with high attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to plan and organise multiple tasks and work autonomously
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
