Harbourside Port Stephens is currently on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Hospitality All-Rounder to assist in both food servery and cleaning/housekeeping whilst providing the highest standards of service to our residents. About the role: As part of our Care Services Team, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of our residents. Your responsibilities will include providing essential cleaning services to maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment and serving meals with kindness and care, helping to create a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere for our residents to thrive. Your efforts will directly impact their quality of life, making every day a bit brighter. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to our Food Safety Program and organisation Cleaning Standards. Serve meals to residents, catering to special dietary needs, and ensure dining areas and tray service meet high standards. Perform cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, tidying rooms, cleaning bathrooms, and emptying rubbish bins. Prioritize and organize workloads to provide both meal and cleaning services effectively, adapting to changing situations. Maintain ongoing communication with the Supervisor regarding meal and cleaning services, reporting any changes or issues. Accurately document and communicate Food Safety and Cleaning Schedules. Monitor stock levels and report to the Supervisor as needed. Promote residents' dignity, safety, security, and comfort. Ensure broken or damaged equipment is reported promptly. About you: Experience: Previous experience working in hospitality and/or cleaning. Skills & Competencies: Effective communication skills including verbal, written and computer literacy. Ability to be flexible, prioritise workload and multi-task. Work as part of the team and demonstrate reliability. Awareness of WHS requirements, particularly manual handling and infection control.
