The Personal Care Worker role is instrumental to ensuring that we are providing high quality care to our residents at all times.Care Service Employees work within the aged care team to promote the delivery of quality care to residents and their families, demonstrating competence in the provision of resident-centred care.Key ResponsibilitiesWork within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks, including, but not limited to daily hygiene, for example: showering; shaving; dressing; mouth and eye careObserve the condition of residents and report any changes to the Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse, Facility Manager or appropriate person as well as completing the required documentationRespect each resident and ensure that they are treated with dignity and given opportunities for making decisions particularly concerning their day to day routineAssist residents who require assistance with mobility as per care plan.
