Join us as a Technician, Aircraft Maintenance at Bombardier
We are seeking a qualified B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for an immediate start at our Sydney, NSW Line Station.
Key Responsibilities
1. Troubleshoot, repair, inspect aircraft systems, and manage maintenance inputs.
2. Perform and document work in compliance with regulations.
3. Liaise with customers and representatives.
4. Ensure work certification aligns with standards and procedures.
5. Identify and act on Critical Maintenance Tasks and CDCCL items.
6. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
7. Verify product release and customer requirements before issuing Certificates of Release to Service (CRS).
8. Sign off on On-the-Job Training (OJT) for colleagues.
9. Report hazards, incidents, and occurrences timely to maintain safety and quality.
10. Assist with cost implications of AD, SB, or SIL notifications.
11. Interpret engineering drawings and provide accurate reports.
12. Communicate effectively about aircraft status and tasks.
13. Operate tools and ground support equipment.
14. Utilize information systems such as SAP.
15. Estimate time, monitor efficiency, and coordinate overtime with management.
16. Ensure proper handover of incomplete tasks at shift end.
Qualifications
* Valid CASA and/or EASA Part 66 B1 License (desirable but not essential for specific aircraft types).
* Relevant aircraft maintenance experience, minimum 3 years as certifier.
* Experience on our aircraft types (Learjet, Challenger, Global) preferred.
* Up-to-date understanding of Part-66, Part-42, Part-145 regulations.
* Valid Driver’s License.
* Minimum 2 years line or base maintenance on similar aircraft.
* Recurrent training as required.
