Step into a pivotal WHS role at Strand, leading the day-to-day management of Work Health & Safety across our retail stores, distribution centre, and head office. You'll drive compliance, continuous improvement, and a positive safety culture nationally – partnering with leaders and teams to protect our people and create safer workplaces.
This is an initial contract role with potential to transition into a permanent role for the right person.

What we're looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety such as a Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent e.g. NEBOSH General Cert)
* Demonstrated experience in incident management and workers compensation
* Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand WHS legislation, regulatory requirements, and risk assessment processes
* Experience providing specialist WHS advice and coaching leaders
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset
* Great initiative with the ability to work independently

* Experience in retail, logistics, or distribution environments
