We are seeking an enthusiastic and vibrant receptionist to join our close-knit team at DC&C in Geraldton.

About us:

Fortuna Advisory Group is a multi-disciplined advisory business providing accounting, legal, wealth, finance, IT managed services, insurance, HR & Recruitment and outsourcing to over 15,000 clients nationally.

The business was started in 2012 in Perth and has now grown to have 16 offices, principally in WA and 1 office in Sydney, but has an aggressive growth strategy to be National by the end of 2025. Providing accounting services to its clients is its core, and using its trust and reputation it has grown to provide additional advisory services to these clients. The business is expected to have more offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane by the end of the year. The business has been recognised through multiple awards and was twice listed within the AFR Top 100 Firms and the fastest growing companies in Australia.

Particularly, the DC&C Geraldton office specialises in the primary production industries, boasting extensive experience within the farming and fishing sectors, while handling a variety of small and medium businesses including many family businesses.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

o Answering of telephones and assisting with client requests

o Attending to clients at front desk.

o Collating documentation for clients

o Scanning, photocopying and filing

o Processing internal invoices and client payments

o Liaising with ATO and ASIC as needed

o Handling and reconciliation of Petty Cash

o Debtor management and follow up with clients as required

o Following up on outstanding client documentation.

o Maintain an orderly office including general cleaning and tidying

o Send Information through to Banks, Lawyers and Finance Brokers

o Shopping for kitchen supplies and posting mail

o Processing of inward emails

To be successful you will require the following skill set:

o Must be personable and be a people person

o A can-do attitude

o Strong attention to detail

o Drivers licence and vehicle (as you will be required to run errands, including collecting post)

o Basic computer skills including word, excel and outlook

o Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
