The Role
We are seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our team at one of our properties. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting exceptional food dishes to our discerning guests.
You will work closely with our experienced chefs to maintain high standards of quality, presentation and consistency in all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes menu planning, food preparation, cooking, plating and serving dishes to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation
* Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve seamless service
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Participate in menu planning and development to ensure ongoing innovation and excellence
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in a contemporary dining setting
* Sound knowledge of WH&S legislation and Health regulations
* Super cool nature under pressure
* Ability to work across a 7-day roster
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
